En esta ocasión deben investigar unas muertes que se pierden en el apasionante pero peligroso pasado de la ciudad de Las Vegas. Un famoso millonario ha sido asesinado mientras estaba con una prostituta, y un niño ha muerto tras un atropello intencionado. Aparentemente, estas muertes no tienen nada en común. Pronto los cadáveres comienzan a multiplicarse. Las pistas se pierden en el pasado y convergen en la muerte de una stripper en los años sesenta: la época en que empezaron a gestarse los secretos y las redes de influencias que tantos años después están costando vidas…

Me gustó mucho, sobretodo el personaje del detective Jonathan Stride que junto con su pareja también detective Serena Dial, investigan un caso en Las Vegas, y también intentan solucionar problemas de convivencia.
